A man-eating tiger is prowling outside a rural town in Russia's Far East in December 1997. A group of men and their dogs must pursue the tiger through the forest on foot in the bitter weather because it is not only murdering people; it is annihilating them. The trackers learn that these attacks aren't random since the tiger appears to be involved in a vengeance as they sort through the horrifying remains of the victims.
